Founding-Pioneering Team

Our first meeting happened in a coffee shop in Harlem in April of 2019. On July 11th we had our first leadership meeting with five coordinators and two Leaders. We have grown since that meeting to twenty-nine members and counting. Below are the Founders and pioneering coordinators responsible for launching and growing this program.

I aspire to be a physician in preventative medicine with a focus on public health. We can do more by proactively teaching healthy habits than by intervening when health has spiraled out of control.

My goal is to become a primary care physician and patient advocate for my community that offers preventative medicine, delivers quality care, and addresses social determinants of health.

Witnessing healthcare disparities within my community solidified my decision to become a physician that advocates for patients with limited resources.
